Workshop on anxiety and stress management at Muslim Association of Pittsburgh.
The anxiety and stress workshop at the mosque provided a supportive and culturally sensitive space for individuals to explore and address the impact of anxiety and stress on their mental health.
Through a combination of psychoeducation, mindfulness practices, and group discussions, participants learned effective coping strategies rooted in Islamic teachings. The workshop fostered a sense of community, encouraging open dialogue about mental health within the cultural context of the mosque, and helped empower individuals with tools to manage stress and anxiety in their daily lives.
